The FIX is in!!!

The playcalling was awful. Where were the vertical plays to Calvin? Where were the screens that worked in the 1st half?

I get that flag was pathetic. But how about the team removes all doubt and actually, you know, scores points?

It would be nice and you know I've been calling for it. But it doesn't diminish one of the most baffling calls I can ever remember.

I've been watching football for 25 years and have never seen a call like that. That just doesn't happen. That was PI and 15 yards on dez. If my dumbdass knows that, then so did the professionally trained referees.

You can say that good teams overcome bad calls, and that blaming the referees is a losers mentality. You can even assert that I have aluminium foil on my head. That call flipped the field in the Cowboys favor and impacted the result.

Exactly. Like I said earlier...none of the espn guys are even trying to defend it. Even Herm Edwards says picking up the flag was wrong and he'll do anything to defend a ref or the nfl. A call like that affects the outcome of the come. You can say you should have scored more earlier, etc. but a lot of play calling has to do with the score of the game. Refs blew that call and it was a major factor in the outcome of the game.

Discussing game plan failures and other missed opportunities in this thread is off topic I think. It would be like saying "Well, if they would have beaten Green Bay, then this game would have never happened. Therefore that enigmatic bad call would have never happened."

Lol funny stuff watching Micheal Irvin trying to say it was most important to get the call right suggesting it wasn't pass interferance. Lol marshall Faulk has none of it chews him up..not that it matters but it is somewhat nice to see so many agreeing and not trying to defend it, maybe some of these guys are wakeing up to it all as well...maybe this will help expose the NFL for what it really has become...a business for entertianment purposes only with attempted controlled outcomes when possible..

Anyway whatever gotta go back to the real world now over all this distraction theater

To add to any conspiracy theories...multiple articles about this are starting to make the rounds....from August.

Is this the NFL ref czar on Cowboys' party bus? Irate NFL execs say yes

Executives from several NFL clubs expressed extreme disappointment and anger at a TMZ video that appears to show the league's head of officiating, Dean Blandino, out for a night of partying in Los Angeles with Cowboys EVP and son of owner Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones.

Blandino appears to be among a group of males and females captured stepping off the Jones' Cowboys-themed party bus and toward a club where paparazzi awaited outside. The Cowboys hold training camp in temperate Oxnard, Calif., and it is not unusual for team officials to take the bus to LA for dinner, etc.

The reactions to the video by officials of several teams -- none of whom I spoke to are a natural rival of the Cowboys or had any personal issues with Jones or Blandino -- as well as former high-ranking team officials, were quite visceral. Several expressed concern at the appearance of potential competitive balance issues, given the sensitive nature of Blandino's role and his authority on matters of officiating and interpretation.

Quote of the night from Ref Pete Morelli on what he saw on PI that was overturned: It's not my responsibility. I'm a hundred miles away." WHAT!!!!

That's fucking amazing. LOL

Ref Pete Morelli said back judge threw flag, head linesman said "contact was minimal and didn't warrant pass interference." Flag picked up.

Jerry on flags getting picked up:I don’t even know which one you’re talking about. And the main thing is the guy on the field said he didn’t

It was a bad call no call or whatever you want to call it but there's no fix. Fk.

Well, there is no way to be certain one way or the other. It was so blatantly wrong though that I understand drawing the conclusion that it was manipulation.

The officials did not complete the process of the call.

I finally understand why they call the Cowboys "America's Team".

Of the 17 player on the field tonight, 11 were wearing stars and 6 were wearing stripes.

Please tell me that is an ink original.

Jerry: "If we're going to stop action and we're going to have replay and we're going to have interpretation from New York -- which I'm all for -- and we're going to do all that, then we might as well get 'em all right. And, again, I think they made the right call in terms of not calling it. That's why they picked it up. It's not supposed to be."

PI reviews coming next year. How many rules are named after Lions? Calvin Johnson Rule. Schwartz challenge flag rule. Pettigrew Rule. Any others?

Don't use Bush ever rule. Skip the 2nd round Mayhew rule.
