The official 2018 nfl draft thread

Well Chub and then Jones were taken early in the 2nd so it was looking like a run on RB's ...And apparently Johnson was their guy so they didnt take any chances . It is what it is now

I get that he may have been our guy but I don't think it was worth the trade up with the limited picks we have. If you can't adjust if someone takes your guy, you shouldn't be a GM.

Guice immature and unreported off field..quinn made the right choice with kerryon

I really think if Guice is off our board the quality backs after Johnson dropped and they figured go get him.

There is just no pleasing some of you! We dont take an RB last night and you bitch and then we go get one today and you bitch. Trust Quin and Patricia they have a plan!

If you want a back that?s super productive with no question marks then you?re gonna have to trade into he top 10 to get him.

2011 ? Mikel Leshoure, RB ? Illinois

Another RB that cost picks to move up for.

Tore his Achilles before even playing a snap in his rookie preseason, and was a bust for all intents and purposes.

Johnson is a two-pick "value"?

Why? How many times has it been said Trust (insert GM and HC) they have a plan - over the years. Why are these guys any different?

I haven't a clue if they drafted well or not .. but no more blind trust until we win playoff games.

Guice must've had some dreadful interviews. What a brutal fall for him.

Heard somewhere that he said he would consider kneeling for the anthem even if it got him blackballed in one interview.

One theory on why he dropped so far.

While I agree with you to a point I do think Quin is better than any GM we have had in a very long time and I do love Patricia as HC. They are working well together and we have to give them the benefit of the doubt. This regime just has a different feel than those of the past. This team is damn close!

Don?t really follow college ball don?t know much about him but saw him interviewed for couple mins on nfl network yesterday and my first impression was he seemed a little immature so idk only time will tell if he ends up a great pick for skins or not could be a huge steal for em

Working well together? They haven't even played a game yet. Why should we give them the benefit of the doubt? Because they're NE people? Damn close? They won 9 games the past two years.

One thing that became clear last year as well as this year is the Lions seem to value maturity more than some teams do. Think back to all the off field issues we had just a few years ago and you havnt really seen any lately.

Really don't understand the Kerryon Johnson pick. Dude is slow, and imo is not an upgrade over any of the scrubs we've already got on our roster.

In heard earlier that he did and some teams took him off their boards based on off field and maturity issues.

I just do not understand trading up and losing picks . It makes no sense for a kid who is bearly a upgrade over the guys we already have ?

The next pick better be on the defensive side. If we draft a TE or WR, I'm gonna lose my mind.

Slow? He ran basically the same 40 time as Sony Michel and no one is calling him slow? I get we didnt take Guice and u may be mad about this, but KJ is better than any RB besides Blount on our team. Give the pick a damn chance
