The major issue the offense had last year was the OL was banged up all year. Did we ever have our intended starting OL for even a game last year? I can remember signing a guy on Thursday and starting them on Sunday because they were out of healthy tackles.

You pick a center in rd 1 and trade up for a rb in rd 2...i expect the running game to be good. It'll only be worth it if its really good. Yep. Typical Lions fan lol. Setting yourself up for failure. You shlubs did the same thing for yrs with Stafford. Constantly comparing him to Rodgers or Manning. Temper your expectations. Ya, the run game will be improved this yr, but don't expect #1 results. Be smart, it's a work in progress.

Definitely a GM who knows everything starts in the trenches... on offense at least.

Don't know if these are all simply best value picks in their mind or if they are following a distinct plan to fix the run game and balance out the offense.

Defense still needs a bunch of work, though.

If improve our time of possession on offense it will greatly help our defense . Last two seasons we have been in the middle of the pack #17 last season . Not saying it's the be all end all but the top mod the chart has a lot of playoff teams and the super bowl winner at number 1. Matt seem to want to get even better in TOP.
