The Official Day 2 Draft Thread (NO TWITTER SPOILERS)

Love that guy, great person and amazing running back. He may not have top end speed, but I don't care

I like this pick... I just hope we can fix his ball security issues.

Didn't know that about Abdullah...and not that it really matters...but one scout gave him the highest off the field grade he's ever given someone.

You can coach a guy to hold onto the ball. You can't coach what he does.

Super productive back, and extremely high character guy.

Again we pick a high round rb without an oline that can run block. Love abdullah....way he runs reminds me of LT....but he will suck here. Poor kid...

I will say it now......

I like Abdullah. I do. He will add to this team. Great guy.

My problem with it is he is small. 5 lbs bigger than Jahvid Best. Not as fast or as quick as best. He will NOT be able to run like that in the NFL. He won't. He's not going to just bounce off guys at the next level.

Will he stay healthy? Is he more than a scat back? I don't know.

Theo riddick could be just as productive as him if not more.....that's the problem i see with the pick.....we didnt get any better.

Excited. We solidify and greatly improve our interior offensive line and our run blocking and now we get a great RB to take advantage of it.

Ameer Abdullah was the one guy in this draft I was hoping for. I'm stoked.

Ditto, watching the way his vision and his legs work together are amazing. And he fights tough to get extra yards.

We just picked a kid with a ceiling.....a CEILING......of a productive part time player.

There is zero chance he could handle a 250 carry workload.

I don't know.

Hope he proves me wrong.

It's not his talent that bothers me, though.

Every year we see these "top backs" go after one good college year. Not Abdullah. Back to back 1600+ yard seasons against really good competition.

He's not huge, but he plays bigger than he is. Been hearing for a while about how he's not big enough... and he just keeps putting up the yards.

Love this pick.

lol if there is one thing he can do, is take a huge amount of carries. Near 300 touches 3 straight years.

Love this pick.

Could care less about measureables. Some guys know how to run, and others can run well.

Shit I used to run well in track.
