The Official Indiana vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

It amazes me what some teams have been able to get away with when playing Michigan. I guess these idiot refs are going to wait until someone gets permanently paralyzed (or worse) before they bother to do their damn jobs.

So Moody is a Freshmen and he was kicking because Quinn was sick and a game time decision. Then Moody sets a record 6 for 6 in fg. That is pretty cool. Plus the catch and hold on the last kick was pretty amazing.

Something like "what do you want OSU to know about you?" Was she trying to get him to give up UM's entire game plan?

Although Haskins supposedly asked Patterson for advice a few weeks ago. He didn't really tell Haskins much, either.

Correction: she asked what should OSU fans know about how ready the team is for the match up next week.

She was asking him if he was ready to guarantee a Michigan victory, in the way that a brash Michigan quarterback did a little over 30 years ago the week before going into the Game in the Shoe.

For those who don’t remember, the guarantee was honored; Michigan won and won the big 10 championship.

I don’t know if Patterson’s coach would have approved of him making such a brash guarantee today, or not.

Announcers talking about how this game gives OSU plenty of film on how to attack UM, nevermind that they could say the same about film on OSU. Both teams played like ass today (and OSU hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire this season), but Michigan won by more and allowed fewer points.

If I were Harbaugh, I'd be tempted to not shake the IU coach's hand; he's a douche and his players have shit discipline.

When I watched the "handshake" it looked like Harbaugh didn't shake his hand. The IU coach reached out and then Harbaugh put his hand on the IU Coach's shoulder, said something, and walked away.

Did I see it wrong?

I think he kicked, because Nordin has been sucking lately. They showed Nordin badly squib a kick in pre-game and then Moody took over

Moody is a true freshman and had never kicked a fg at the collegiate level. He went 6 for 6, which has never been done by a Michigan kicker. Has a kicker ever kicked 6 field goals in one game?

This is true to but if you listen to the presser with him it was mention that Quinn was under the weather also, and a game time decision. I?m glad they switched Quinn would have missed a few of those. Glad Moody is a freshman too!

I think Moody will be taking over the kicking duties for the rest of the season. Hope the kid can handle the pressure. His longest kick was 33 yrds. Does he have the distance that Nordin has?

They said that he kicked a 57 yarder last year in high school

Hmm honestly I don't know about the kicking situation. I guess you'd have to stick with Moody since he went 6-6. However it's not like he nailed all of them right down the middle. Quite a few of them seemed to be close to missing, and they weren't from that far away.

I think you are right, at least that is the way it looks on the replay on ESPN.

Given that Moody has been the one handling kickoffs and sending the majority of those out of the endzone he should have the leg to kick longer field goals. Nordin is a total mess right now so hopefully Moody can keep it going.

Did that "something" that Harbaugh said include some variant of "the revenge tour next year starts with YOU."?

I guarantee that the next game against Indiana will be the most important in my lifetime, which on the surface isn't saying much. But they earned a good ass kicking for sure. Run them off the fucking field.

As I saw it, neither of them offered to shake the others hand. But I didn't note any animosity in their body language or reactions. And Jim was shaking the IU player's hands as he went past them. I don't think there were any hard feelings.

Maybe he didn't want to make a scene at that moment, but he clearly knew IU was being a pack of assholes, since he told his players not to retaliate.

Dude was an asshole at the end of the first half, jumping up and down and high fiving people. I was waiting for someone to give him a gatorade shower on the field. Fucking retard.
