The one Chesson dropped near the end was completely on him. Herbie kept trying to say it was behind him, it hit him right in the flippin shoulder pads and went off his hand.

This year's team is great, but it isn't elite. Someone earlier noted the huge gap between Alabama and everyone else. I tend to agree.

We were well Aware of the flaws; I guess if we had to lose just one game, this isn't too bad of an option. Let's keep it at one.

True, but they were catchable balls. This was Chesson's worse game as a Wolverine.

Just don't understand not trying for 8 or 9 yards on third down? Nope let's take out butt and throw a jump ball to our one receiver and see if he can come down with it. Nothing underneath nothing over the middle, nothing to a running back.

Oh and lets run the wildcat on 2nd down when everyone knows what type a play is coming ...

Jim and Brown were so bad tonight it's not funny. Sure defense held them to 12 points but whoopty f****** do on the key plays .. hey guys jail house blitz they will never suspect it. ..Jesus.

On the 4th and five for iowas td I see blitzing maybe 1 guy but not as many as they did..

I would've rather lost to Wisconsin. A game played earlier in the year against a top ten opponent might have made the loss a little more respectable. We just lost to a team that lost to fucking North Dakota State (not that NDSU is a bad team, but still).

At least it's basketball season so I can watch Irvin to 1-6 from three game in and game out.

I disagree . It was high and behind him on the pad and his body was going away from the ball and the iowa guy was there to take it . away.better throw it's a easy catch . Just my opinion.

Fair point, but I think a home loss to IU would look terrible and potentially deflate the team.

Also just looked at Speight's stat line , ridiculous. Hope he bounces back. Also just saw safety on highlights. I'm actually glad that's didn't watch this live I'd be down a TV

If it hits you in the shoulder pad and you get an arm/hand on it, it's catch-able. Yeah, it was a touch behind him where he had to turn his body, but if it was right on the mark, the CB was likely getting to it anyways.

The play calling as a whole was completely pathetic. How about after the INT, you come out on 1st down and throw the ball? Instead, run up the gut, stupid wildcat, bad throw.

Agree to disagree. No matter how bad the pass, Chesson got in the spot where it hit him in the shoulder. Once that happens, catch needs to be made.
