I think the coaches were trying to reward Higdon's hard running on the drive. But after his last carry, they wanted to give it to the hammer.

My hate is bc we have the weapons to make life way easier for the offense. Far too often we don't force the defense to defend sideline to sideline. They just have to defend the middle of the field.

Just frustrating to have a 132-21 first quarter yardage and the scoreboard reads 7-3 them .
Should be leading by more the three.
Also some of the set espically the 4th and 1 were predictable. Most of the rollouts have not been very good pattern wise. Yes you are right player execution (Patterson Int comes to mind) has been poor. We have the athletes. We schould open up the playbook like that last drive verses Maryland.
