• With Saturday's victory, U-M improves to 74-25-3 all-time against Minnesota, including a mark of 70-23-2 in the 95 games to date that have decided the winner of the Little Brown Jug.
• The Wolverines progress to 6-2 on the season, including a 2-1 mark in road games and a 3-1 record in conference matchups.
• In 47 matchups of this rivalry played in the state of Minnesota, Michigan has compiled a 33-12-2 record, including 20 wins in the last 21 matchups and a 2-0 mark in games at TCF Bank Stadium.
• The Maize and Blue has now won 16 consecutive contests on the road against the Golden Gophers.

• Jake Butt hauled in four receptions for 38 yards. The four catches put him at 68 for his career and moves him solely into eighth place for tight-end receptions in school history. Butt has caught at least one pass in 11 straight games and in 19 of his last 22 games.
• Amara Darboh led the way for U-M with six receptions for 73 yards. Darboh has now posted multiple catches in all eight games so far this season.
• Jabrill Peppers' 41-yard punt return early into the second quarter is a career long.
• Peppers played 92 total plays in the game, including seven on offense, which is a single-game career high. His six-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter marks his first career offensive touchdown.
• Jehu Chesson's 13-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter is his first receiving touchdown of the season and the second of his career. He followed that up later with the game-winning score -- a 12-yard touchdown reception from Wilton Speight in the fourth quarter. He now has six career scores: three receiving, two rushing and one kickoff return.
• Chesson has tallied a reception in 17 of the last 21 games dating back to 2013.
• Maurice Hurst registered one tackle-for-loss. He has contributed in that category in five of the last six contests.
