Edit: I will say, however, that the "little brother" reference needs to die already. Since no one on the team was around when it happened, I wish the media would stop running with it every time this game is played.

Planting a spear at midfield is just as stupid as skywriting "Go Blue" above MSU's stadium. I would find both of them ridiculous if Michigan was the better team, but it's downright moronic to do either when your team has been shitting itself in the rivalry for 6 of the last 7 years.

It didn't. The the late score in the 49-3 game came when Mich intercepted the ball on the 14 yard line with 2:30 to go. Too early for victory formation.

Yeah that's what I thought. Like "go bucks" when a michigan victory could've meant a big ten title for Sparty, that viewpoint is objective and not based on irrational, backwoods, childish thinking.
