The Official MSU vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

Your pathetic program and the entire U of M community is full of classless arrogant pricks who make up the most hated group in all ol college sports and Dantonio took pleasure in shoving that spear up your collective asses with that late TD. That is what that means.

Way to show us the ways of moral superiority.

You seriously didn't see what you were doing as you typed that?

And if you're capable, can you explain how the hierarchy works as it pertains to a spear on your field vs. an MSU flag at Notre Dame Stadium?

Did it after a win and it was still wrong, to do it before a game you're about to get crushed in? That's the Michigan difference.

Its more comical than anything really, Im more pissed at the coaches for quitting for 30% of the game. Thats a bigger issue man, planting a flag isnt going to cost us a game.

It's funny to watch MSU fans struggling to handle themselves during successful football seasons. It's so new and novel to them. It reminds me of watching a 16 year old getting behind the wheel the first couple times, and that first time they hit 55 on the highway, and they think they're cruising and looking cool.

Ah, Sparty. You'll get there.

And yes, the spear planting was fucking stupid. It's what losers do - before or after a game. I'm interested (and a bit worried, honestly) to hear who it was.

If this comment about the spear being a product of the program is true, that along with the "where's the threat" quote are more disrespectful than anything any Michigan coach has said about MSU to my knowledge.

Good point. Don't know what johnny's so upset about. MSU did what they were expected to do, spear or no spear. Apparently that's not enough for him. Makes you wonder if Michigan personally jabbed him in the ass with said spear at some point.

@mattcharboneau: Dantonio clear as well, says he's tired of the disrespect from UM

I don't think the last few years we have been disrespectful

The spear thing embarrasses me but come in, it is rivalry

I want some more details on this spear thing. Who did it? I saw one tweet saying MSU players were saying someone threw a spear during the national anthem. Someone must have a picture.

I've said it before, if they're still crying about disrespect, that's on them. This is what respect feels like. It's never going to get any better.

They would have mentioned it during the game, ill ask Sbee, he was there.

"WHAAAAHHHHHHH!!! STOP OPPRESSING MEEEEEE!!!!"

For someone whose team was won almost every game against its rival since he took over, he sure does complain. On the other hand, Michigan players are probably tired of MSU players trying to injure them; talk about disrespect.

It didn't. The the late score in the 49-3 game came when Mich intercepted the ball on the 14 yard line with 2:30 to go. Too early for victory formation.

That was how I remember it plus second string qb if I recall

Ran ground plays to let clock run

I'm fearful of who it was too.

What a dick move. Your team sucks. They've sucked in this rivalry. It's like Michael Shaw shouldering an OSU player in the tunnel in 2010. But these are men who grew up as kids never being told they suck and being taught humility.

I'm not that fearful. Even if it's true the way people are saying, it's the 2nd time Dantonio is reacting at the level of a player. Hopefully, the next coach will know how to use this to fire up the team next year.

I can't help but sit and laugh as Sparty's are calling UM classless. Really, Thug U?! Two targeting penalties (well only one was called) in one game to an underdog team? That's the Sparty way, afterall.....

This is fucking hilarious

Tell your coach that, then, since he's still complaining about being disrespected. What does he expect Michigan to do when playing a rival, kiss his ass?

And yeah, the Lewan head-twisting incident was stupid, as was the Denard head-twisting incident and whatever targeting crap MSU was pulling today. What is it about this rivalry that makes it uglier than when UM plays OSU? We hate them, too after all.
