The Official MSU vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

If you think about it, after 100 years of shitting on MSU, Michigan is kind of due for another decade or more of this kind of thing.

I have to think this is our final payment to the football gods. We should be good for 100 years.

Yeah, that probably makes them good for multiple centuries. Never has a game been so thoroughly lost from the jaws of victory.

Nothing but a fucking gag job....cannot let anything like this happen and yet we did..from the gutless play calling down the stretch and all second half to a qb that cannot hit a wide open pass and when he does hits his one our receiver will probably drop it... our fucking dumb punter has to know falling on it is better them what he did .was he told thay in the huddle. Lets let a long fullback who never plays do 7o yards...fucking gag.. can't fucking get 10 yards after getting 6 on first down...fucking crap playcalling. .

I'll be watching Penn State and Ohio State and hoping for the upset.

I admire you for your ability to watch more football after what just happened. I don't watch any more games for the rest of the day/night if Michigan loses. And I sure as hell ain't gonna watch another game tonight only to see that ridiculous ending re-played for the whole damn country to see.

Msu led for 0:00 seconds of the game, but won somehow.... Holy fuck I can't believe what I just saw... <barf>

Bullshit... we lose next year in spartan stadium as you know we start a new qb also ...it's probably going to be much longer.. this is a hard choke job to swallow. That punter has to know falling on it is better then what he did... poor coaching.

Yeah not chance in hell I watch anymore football tonight.. I agree.. .

Yeah, if he catches and kicks the ball, we're all happy.

But Chesson's drop, Hill's brain fart in coverage and then less than stellar effort to catch the slow, white fullback let alone tackle him, Rudock overthrowing ANOTHER wide open receiver, plenty of single plays that weren't made.

Did anyone realistically think that Rudock was going to get one more first down on either of the last two drives and ice the game away? I sure as hell didn't.

Count me as another who didn't.

The shock damn near killed me. I didn't breathe for the longest time as I stared at the tv absolutely stunned.

You haven't been a Michigan fan as long as I have.

You'll get used to it; in the meantime just get higher blood pressure meds.

O'Neill is an an awesome talent; except he doesn't know anything more about football than he knew how to find his grandparent's sexy toy drawer back in Australia.

He needs a personal bi-lingual coach on every play.

"Oy mate...eats teen seeconds leeft een the geem, eef ya get a baid snaip.ya just fall on eet, ya wankah."

I live in Ohio. My Facebook contains more OSU fans than non-OSU fans so if I can watch an upset and see them all implode I damn well will do it!

Maybe Bennie Oosterbaan wanted to remain the only coach to beat MSU first time out. Thanks for the loss bennie... How the fuck....?

Has Michigan ever won a game in similar fashion? I can't remember one. It seems that traditionally, this team only loses games in that fashion.

Pretty much sums it up

Fellow Ohioan here. About half my immediate family lives in here in Toledo; the other half lives in Columbus and its environs. Of those who care a whit about football, almost all of them back OSU, as do a scant few family friends. Thankfully, I almost never communicate with any of these people during football season. I don't know any Sparty fans, and I am even more thankful for that after today.

However, if PSU manages to upset OSU, I will be a little happier even if I don't see my OSU-backing relatives flip out.

Edit: What the hell is up with random words being hyperlinked to products containing those same words? Shit like this makes me hate capitalism.

I didn't think they would get another first down but Jesus, the milked the clock down to :10... A good punt could hang for :03. The game was won... The offense did enough... Kicking a fucking punt should be autofuckingmagic..

Just saw the punt for the first time. The 3 UM guys in front of the kicker broke right like it was a fake punt, or maybe roll-out right and then kick...Harbaugh say anything after the game about "the play"...or was it just a simple punter clusterfuck?

No fucking way IN HELL it was a fake punt.

Even if he covers it where was the ball at? I think it was out of field goal range so MSU would have only had like 7 seconds. They would have probably had to throw a hail mary anyway but that probably isn't enough time to try and move the ball up.
