The Official THE GA][V][E Game Thread 2024 Edition

You’re not wrong.

I wanted to start a thread expressing that exact sentiment except this forum is such a piece of shit that I’m unable to do it. Maybe Cam will just say that I’m a fucking idiot.
Yeah the best way to have celebrated that win was to have immediately left the field to the losers. “we’re done here what’s next?”

Its not difficult to start a thread. Not anymore difficult than anywhere else.

Been watching the postgame videos or OSU fans and players crying over the loss. Buckeye tears taste especially sweet this year!

It sounds to me like, you might have something personally against Coach Moore.
Ya I'm actually not a fan of moore.... or atleast the OC. If you want underwood to be successful Michigan should considee a new coach. Getting the best qb to hand it off 30 times is kind of a waste.

But as far as that post goes... your offense was struggling and there were very easy ways to get some positive plays and we never take them. It's terrible coaching.

Doesn't Michigan have a redshirt freshman that people were clammering for play time this season? What about him?

Jadyn Davis, almost forgot about him. His parents wanted him to sit out a year which is probably why he didn't play when we desperately needed a better QB. 4 star recruit.

Probably cost him a chance of ever seeing the field for Michigan

I just hope Moore understands now the importance of figuring out the QB situation, and knowing when to keep backing him and when to move on.

WHO the QB is matters less than having good coaching behind him.

Failing to do that this year cost us against Illinois and Washington. And we got really lucky that USC couldn't tackle Mullings because that could've easily been another loss.

being 9-3, or 10-2 right now if we had beat Indiana... we could be in the playoffs! With Davis Warren at QB! Not JJ... Not Bryce Underwood, not a high school senior coming in with unbelievable hype ....

Ohio St. fan reactions are fun to read. It's amazing how many of them are repeating Harbaugh's "third base" slur about their own coach...!! talk about getting in their heads.

This is bullshit... both teams got fined by the Big Ten for the post game fracas.

Video CLEARLY shows them starting it, despite how much Gus Johnson & Fox tried to "both sides" it on the broadcast. Our team was out there planting the flag, as lots of schools do, including others have done to us... and a sea of red comes on the field and starts shoving.

there is no both sides-ing this one or any of the others. That was 100% on uofm players, no question - and their coaches for fostering the the thug culture that pervades the program. When will you wake up to the one common denominator in all these post game fights? It's the thug mentality of your program. Colston Loveland left no doubt about that.

Shut up.

This reminds me of my friend and I who only had one argument in 50+ years. We were in my home when we were 12 and I asked him to leave, I forget why we were arguing, he just simply said no. That was pretty much it, not much you could say after that.

So I respect your answer. And bringing back a good moment in my life.

Thugs dont let other teams plant flags in their house and walk away. Michigan walked away when both Texas and Oregon planted theirs. You know why? Because the guys knew that if they had won, it wouldn't of happened. They lost the big game. They knew it was deserved. Play better. Like I said before, I didnt like the UofM player taking the flag into OSUs group of guys after the scrum started. That was going too far. The actual plant was warranted. They can fuck off on that one.

the common denominator isn't Michigan... we don't pick fights when we lose; as noted BOTH Oregon and Texas did this in Michigan Stadium, and no one in Maize and Blue did anything to them, we just shook hands and walked off the field.

If there is a common denominator, it's OSU and MSU, two schools full of idiots who couldn't get into Michigan, who've decided to base their existence on beating Michigan in football, and can't handle losing to the Wolverines, and act like morons when they do.

As far as this being "100% on uofm players, no question": here's the video of how it actually started:

If I'm holding a flag, and you run up and shove me, who started the fight? Me? Don't try to claim other people have the "thug mentality"....

There's one undisciplined team there, and it's the one who's coach stood idly by with a blank look on his face, while one of his team leaders put hands on another member of his staff, and his players stormed the field to pick a fight, after losing as 19.5 favorites on their home field...

maybe not but picking fights when you win is even worse. You have the most thuggish program in college football. Zero class, and it's a cultural thing that comes from the coaches, down to the players. The fact that they don't act like thugs when Texas and Oregon hand their asses to them doesn't excuse their thuggish behavior when they win. uofm started both those fights, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the full footage of the tunnel incident, if there wasn't more to it than was reported.

and just to pre-empt more of you whiny nonsense, i'm not justifying what happened in the tunnel, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it wasn't more uofm thug behavior that contributed to it.

Edit: and LOL - the one undisciplined team isn't the one acting like a bunch of assholes planting a flag in an opponents field after a game. Good take.

Like I said, one common denominator. I can't make YOU see it, but everyone else does.
