Throw 6 TDs Against Lions Gets You Paid

And there was pretty much no drop off from flynn replacing a top 3 qb

WCO is a great system when run right , and with guys who can sit and absorb the system isn't it.

I'm a little disappointed that some Lions' fans here are trying to justify ANY QB tossing 6 TDS on its defense. It was a pathetic, uninspired effort that only deserved scorn and then evisceration from the Lions' fans' collective Zeitgeist.

If its the system, why doesn't everyone run it

who knows....pretty much everyone has tried it at one time or another , or variations of it.

like Rodgers , Flynns has the time and pratice reps to become very good in the system.

not knocking him...he played awesome and made some great throws and played well when called upon last year.

he isn't worth 14+ million though....but I could careless because the Lions wont be the one's pursuing him.

justify 6 TDs againt...who is , they got TORCHED..lol

been saying it for 2 years now....our Seconday BLOWS.

Most people on here probably think I'm just being a homer and saying flynn's good cause he plays for the packers. But what difference does it make. He's not going to start here. And packers are gonna get the draft picks no matter if flynn does good or bad. So it doesn't really matter.

I just think he's played pretty well.

Mitch[/color]]You assume other teams are drooling over him.

If not in the offseason the trade deadline. Someone always goes down early.

If that happens, not off season but trade deadline or late exhibition -- he won't be getting the big money at that time.

And if he is franchised, no one will trade for a 14m QB in week 6.

Except Oakland this year. lol Friggin tards[/quote:zarcggcu]

There you go. Oakland's their own thing. They're seperate for the rest of the world or reality.

:)

I dunno, seems like the "impatient" owners of many NFL franchises, especially amongst those who field contending teams more often than not, could quickly become trigger-happy.

That might cause some justifiably nervous GMs to gamble on obtaining Flynn over the coming off-season, hoping that he might be able to help save their ass from getting the ziggy?

That would be sticking their necks out for the guillotine that much faster, IMO, if he doesn't produce the expected results and quickly, since Flynn isn't gonna come cheap, obviously.

Oakland re-did Palmers deal...they got him for 7.5 million guaranteed.

they can cut him this year and owe him nothing.

and if they keep him for 2012 which they most likely will, they get him for 7.5 million seeing how 5 million of the 2nd year was guaranteed.

actually a good deal for them.

The money doesn't hurt as much as the picks. What is it a 1 and a 2 now that they didn't make the playoffs?

All i can say, is when the chips fall and Flynn gets paid and picked up by whoever ends up with him, he needs to go ahead and send Chris Harris a Holiday Gift Basket...

what a life for Flynn if he gets the tag.
Kid has thrown a total of 569 Passes in a game since he's left high school (9 Years) and could make 14+ million next year.

Rodgers would have thrown 8 TDs against our defense on Sunday.

Flynn is a backup for a reason.
