Throw 6 TDs Against Lions Gets You Paid

Rodgers would have thrown 8 TDs against our defense on Sunday.

Flynn is a backup for a reason.

To be fair Stafford, Brady, Eli, Rivers..etc would be a backup on the packers.

Not saying Flynn is in their league, but just because he's a backup doesn't make him bad.

So Flynn is like the rest of those guys and regardless how Rodgers is a stud how is Brady a backup on the Packers?

He's better. I didn't realize that. Because of a better QB rating in one year? And Brady beats him in most other numbers, completion %, TD (we're call this equal), Yards (by quite a bit). To say Rodgers would beat out Brady as the top QB, assuming same age is ludicrous. And past years its not even close.

I meant Brees, not Brady. Nevermind then

Brees numbers are better. But you do notice how many more attempts brees has right.

Yeah but I don't think it matters much. Its hard to say if one player switches team how they'll play. If Brees was on GB he might be 15-1 and Rodgers on NO, he might have 5400 yards.

One example is Jody Nelson. I heard a stat that's Rodgers has a perfect rating, 153.8 or whatever is perfect when throwing to Nelson. That's pretty good.

That's only at Lambeau when he throws to him.

158.3 I think is perfect. But yeah, that's pretty fuckin good...

I take it back...

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Aaron Rodgers has completed 59-of-81 throws for a 72.8 completion rate and a league-leading 154.5 passer rating on throws to Jordy Nelson. It's an amazing stat and further proof that Nelson is one of the most effective and underrated receivers in the league. He's gaining Rodgers' trust at the expense of Jermichael Finley's production. Nelson certainly deserved a Pro Bowl spot, though it's hard to quibble with the foursome of Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Steve Smith, and Greg Jennings. Dec 29 - 3:49 PM

Passer Rating is such a failed stat it is stupid to analyze a QB with it.

Now QBR on the other hand...

Oh geez, I'm glad you're kidding :) . I remember when Staff had a great game but had like 4-5 sacks which were those "2 seconds he had no where to go" sacks and his QBR took a dive. Lol.

There was some ESPN Statistician that was saying the teams that are near or at the top in Passer Rating Differential - which is the difference between your QB's Rating versus what your defense allows the other QB - usually results in a strong playoff.

Packers last year were #1 in Passer Rating Differential.

I didn't actually take the time to see where the Lions are at, but if somebody else wants to do the work and post it, that would be interesting...

The Lions qbr at defense was pretty good at one point late in the season. But they've been torched lately so they no doubt dropped. But they were top 5 at one point.

in Linehans offense , there is not many I'd take over Stafford.

in a WCO , Rodgers is the guy.

This was posted a few days ago...don't know how accurate it is.
