TigsTown Bourbon and Baseball BS Podcast: A History Lesson. 97 minutes.
Gets going with Tigers talk around the 20/21 minute mark.

In this episode, Paul and Mark dive into their favorite eateries and watering holes around Tigers farm teams stadiums, and rehash a couple Lakeland stories from back in the day.
After Paul is done mocking Mark for being "grown-up" and "mature", they dive into baseball, tackling the reasons behind the Josh Harrison signing, which youngsters have garnered attention this spring and what is expected from rookies that are being handed playing time like Christin Stewart and Grayson Greiner.
Paul and Mark wrap up with a couple reader questions, including what is success for Parker Meadows, and just how long has TigsTown been around.

Detailed topics below;
Remember to visit Swan Brewing, sponsor of the Bourbon and Baseball BS Podcast, in downtown Lakeland! Swan Brewing is Lakeland's premier craft brewery and taproom. Check out their site at SwanBrewing.com, follow them on Twitter @Swanbrewing, and make sure to mention TigsTown when you visit to get 20% off your bill!

Paul and Mark share their favorite place to visit when visiting the Tigers minor league affiliates, with Paul pointing out his favorite stop in Toledo, and Mark in Erie.

Paul and Mark re-live their glory days on trips to Lakeland for spring training as Mark drinks a seltzer.

Paul re-lives his 2018 visit to Lakeland, when he woke up an entire wing of a hotel thanks to a basketball game and a crowded sports bar.

Talk FINALLY turns to baseball, where they share their POV on the Josh Harrison signing and what motivated it - hint: they don't agree on what drove the decision when it happened.

Casey Mize and Daz Cameron have been making the most noise among the youngsters that got a chance to show their stuff in big league camp.

Could Tigers fans restlessness and frustrations lead to either Cameron or Mize (or both) being called-up earlier than anticipated to appease the fanbase?

Christin Stewart is being handed the left fielder job - over/under on his performance lining up with Jeimer Candelario's production last season.

Grayson Greiner is being handed the catcher's job - over/under on his performance lining up with James McCann's production last season.

Which young pitcher(s) will get a crack at the rotation? (hint: Spencer Turnbull and Kyle Funkhouser).

What does success for Parker Meadows look like this season?

A recap of how long TigsTown has been around and why they think they're the best in the business.

"Welcome to life with a last place club: Last week in Lakeland, Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire arrived at Joker-Marchant Stadium the morning after a driving all-night rain only to discover the 8-10 year-old tarp had a hole in it and the infield was covered with water. "The tarp was a million years old and somebody should have realized that before we got down here," Gardenhire said while watching the Tigers doing their pre-game batting and infield drills on one of the much smaller back fields while the stadium was undergoing a ferocious blow drying from the grounds crew. After discovering the tarp issue, Gardenhire was told by one of his coaches he needed to take a look at a left-handed batting practice pitcher. "The first one we had couldn't throw strikes, so my first order of business here was to audition a left-handed BP pitcher. "Somehow, that doesn't sound like part of a manager's job description," I said to him. "It isn't," Gardenhire laughed. A couple of days later, Tigers chairman Chris Ilitch arrived in camp and declared: "I'm optimistic and excited for this season. It's going to be a great year of growth." We're glad he thinks so. The most notable additions to last year's 64-98 club are pitchers Matt Moore, who had a 6.79 ERA for Texas in '18, and Tyson Ross, who's been raked for 12 hits and 10 runs over 6 2/3 innings in his first three spring outings. ... Bless You Boys Tigers Blog Podcast Episode 38: Miguel Cabrera does Miguel Cabrera things. 74 minutes.
The editorial staff of BYB looks into the week in Tigers news.

Ashley and Brandon are back with another scintillating hour of pure audio delight. There are actually a lot of bite-sized pieces of spring training news to digest, and we do so, battling the digression monster the whole way, before getting into a few weightier topics.

Nick Castellanos re-iterated his desire to stay in Detroit for the long haul. The Tigers replied with a deafening silence, so don?t get too attached just yet.

Brad Ausmus gets his second chance, and it wasn?t a long wait. Finally, we run through quick primers on the AL and NL West.

Miggy has two bombs and a hidden ball trick.

Jordan Zimmermann is dealing.

Matt Moore and Tyson Ross post good outings to right their ships.

Daniel Norris finally broke through with a little help from Tigers pitching coach, Jordan Zimmermann. However, Michael Fulmer is scaring people.

Daz Cameron is shining bright.

Niko Goodrum is a delight.

Nick?s plaintive plea for an extension falls on Avila?s deaf ears.

Can Brad Ausmus become an ?analytics manager? and wtf is that, even?
AL/NL West primer.
