That doesn't even make sense. Why would a runner not be ready to tag up on a ball that was either gonna be caught or a homer? There was zero chance it was dropping in. It was tracked the whole way by the OF'er.

It was just poor base running on Dirks's part. Thankfully the M's bailed us out.

I wish Raburn would start hitting, cause he's playing decent 2b, which is surprising.
 
Wonder if a short trip to Toledo would not hurt. Maybe let him get some confidence, and take a little pressure off him.


I agree I mentioned it yesterday didn't help Raburn out a few years back.? I forgot what year we sent him down 1,2 or 3 years ago..

Dirk's is hitting pretty good right now. In fact real good now I changed my post as he was hitting a single. Gotta go with what we got for now!
