This never should have happened. Throw that .186 hitter a strike and he swings over the top of it. Soto trying to be to cute. Should blown that hitter away.

Angels have 9 walks. I think I heard on the radio that they are in the bottom half of the league in walks. I?d have to check that.

Record with different catchers starting:

Haase = 24-18 .571 WPCT

Rogers = 20-15 .571 WPCT

Greiner = 9-13 .409 WPCT

Ramos = 5-17 .227 WPCT

Pitching with each catcher:

Rogers = 3.97 ERA 1.26 WHIP .718 OPP OPS 2.55 SO/BB

Haase = 4.13 ERA 1.34 WHIP .738 OPP OPS 2.47 SO/BB

Ramos = 5.06 ERA 1.51 WHIP .756 OPP OPS 1.94 SO/BB

Greiner = 5.56 ERA 1.49 WHIP .856 OPP OPS 2.04 SO/BB

So you're saying Ramon and Greiner stink? Probably need to go further like who did each catcher play against and the starters that pitched.

This don?t merit its own thread but it?s getting a little national and probably international buzz. Apparently Jack Morris said something about Otani considered a little racially insensitive. Scroll down the page and there?s a screenshot of some guy Spencer Wheelock?s tweet of the play by play of what Morris said and a follow up apology.

If this was the politics board I would have spelled follow and apology a little different but it?s the family board so I?ll keep it nice.

he's a shitty color commentator anyway. or should I say African American commentator? It's all very confusing ;)

The words itself don't seem racist "be very very careful." But I don't know the way he said it.

You just can?t say what Jack said the way he said it. He should know better.
