Yeah I was hoping the with the limited work and extra time off we would see him get some of his velocity back. At least he is learning to pitch without the 98+ FB which is a great sign.

Mario was saying that too, his changeup and offspeed/curve are good tonight.

What goes through his mind when he sees a guy on first and he just throws the bat at a bad 3-2 pitch? I mean seriously. You are slow, it WILL be a dp if you make contact. Just don't swing, period. If you strike out, fine at least you didn't TOTALLY SCREW any kind of big inning opportunity.
