Same, though I'd like a younger rangy SS myself, I don't think there is much chance the Tigers don't pick up his option.

Yeah considering it is a relatively cheap 6m option I would be surprised if we made a move to bring in a different SS but it doesn't change the fact he has been absolutely brutal with the bat this year.

lets hope for an ACL tear during spring training? lol. srsly....with Vmart back in the lineup we could use a defensive SS thats simply servicable at the plate. Not like JP has done much at the plate this year.

I'd just rather the Tigers not pick up his option and run Danny Worth out there. He has great range, can bunt, and will be cheaper than Peralta. His bat cant be that much worse than Peralta's.
