Man it is taking forever to get to the start of the game.

Yeah...hopefully the offense wakes up.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a low scoring extra innings game tonight (and if that happens, I don't like the Tigers in that scenario).

i saw this idea in another thread, we should have brought in JV to close. he likely would have dominated them for a save and then had 2 full days of rest to be able to start game 1 of the ALCS on saturday. unfortunately, leyland likely isnt smart or inventive enough to have even considered it.

Tigers fans can't have it both ways.

JV hasn't been overly dominant in his playoff career and Jose had five straight appearances of not allowing a run. If JV came in and lost (being in a role he's never done) the fans would bitch about it for years to come.
