I can't understand how he went from being off the chain to back to the K' machine is such a sort duration. I'm starting to think he just doesn't have a good eye at the plate he swings at some really bad pitches sometimes while other times just watches strikes right down the center without ever lifting the bat off his shoulders.

Horrible plate discipline. I also can't understand why this guy doesn't learn how to bunt. It would be an excellent weapon for him and would open up holes in the infield because people would be playing in. The guy has trouble with sacbunts for crying out loud. How is that not something that he has to do over and over.
