So you're never supposed to use them? He should never be criticized for going to his 8th inning bullpen guy in the 8th inning. That's why he's on the team. He let his starter go 7. There's nothing to criticize. People need to perform. We're in game 34 of the year. You can't give up on your big dawgs now because they've struggled. They have to work their way out of it.

JV at 104 pitches or Benoit fully rested. In a 1 run game who do you trust more? Now we have to sweat 2 relievers pitching in this game.
