The defense is what it is with Fielder and Cabrera on the infield. Getting better ss and 2b is the only upgeade possible with this setup/

When you consider his arm, Cabrera is at least average at 3rd as far as defense.

He does not get to all the hits that Inge might have, but he throws out guys nobody else has a chance to.

Cabrera has scored a run in seven consecutive games, matching a career high also accomplished in '11, '05 and '04.

September has been a great month for Cabrera over last two seasons -- combined .405 (60x148), 16 2B, 12 HR, 37 RBI in 42 games

Tigers D at 3rd is 5th best and 3rd best at short, in FPCT in the AL. But is that range factor that is sometimes the problem. 2nd it's 10th thoe! 8th at 1st, really there not bad stat wise. But range is there down fall.
