Tigers vs. blue jays Game Thread July 29

Is "filthy" pretty much the "it" term of the current 29 seconds?

Or does that refer to an arsenel of pretty much unhittable stuff overall?

Filthy was always what I used to describe a hard slider, like Al Albequerqe has a "filthy" slider.

What are all the terms for a nasty curve ball..

Yellow hammer
Uncle Charlie
I had a coach way back in pony league yell out to our pitcher
'throw the yacker "!!!!

there must be a lot more..

I have made up one just for me... i yell at the tv screen to throw the
Uncle zippy ... I know it makes no sense for a cure ball..

I forget about "Uncle Charlie", and in H.S. we just used to call it "The Bender".

Well Delmon, Ryan, and Jhonny due up.....last time it was these 3 it worked out.

Tell her no. This game is too important. :)

LOL... I am back... she just wanted me to look at a house in our neighborhood that is up for sale... Just humoring her..

Eight strikeouts for Fister: Four looking, four swinging.
It's his fourth start this season with 8 or more strikeouts, seventh of his career.

Key to today's Tiger game so far is the fact that grounders were hit at Tiger infielders with men on base, getting Fister out of jams,
and then Peralta waves at a grounder past him.

Fister might have caught a break on the check swing called k by first base ump, we'll take it,

That's 9 strikeouts for Fister, 8 innings, 109 pitches, 1 run, 7 hits, 2 walks,
all against the highest scoring offense in the AL or all the majors with over 500 runs scored,

Tigers lead 3 - 1.
