Tigers vs. bluejays Game Thread April 11

hey KC, kinda off topic, but do you pay for mlb.tv to watch games? im moving to RI in a few months and im trying to figure out if its worth it for how much it is.

on a related note i think i wanna try to see the tigers at fenway in sept.

I have the Comcast MLB Extra Innings cost is, at least here $180. joining the Tigers fan Club from the official site, I was able to get the mlb audio with Dan and Jim.
I don't have the mlb.tv on the computer though.

You're moving to Rhode Island?? If you want to here, or in a private message, let me know which part of the state, and what's going on.

ah, Comcast wont work for me cuz we're not gonna get TV (we prefer super high speed internet + netflix and whatnot).

also, pm sent...i think. it didnt appear in my sent box yet so i dunno lol.

Nice running catch Kelly,

Fister has gone the longest of all starters for the young season,
8 innings, 1 run, 8 hits, 1 walk, 5 k's, 8 ground ball outs, 107 pitches,

Tigers cruise control 11 - 1.

I think the state of RI has Cox Cable.

I live in Northern NY and I get MLB.TV (Droid, BluRay, Laptop). The only issue is the blackouts based on where you are at. So, when the Tigers just recently played the Yankees, MLB.TV blacked out the games, but I was able to watch them on YES.

Bonus is you can change between the two team broadcasts. That way I don't have to listen to Rod and Mario. Not to say the Hawk is better (when the CHW play), howerver I have never liked Rod since his Diamondback's days (I lived in Arizona back then).

Great game by Dougie!!...helped me to quickly forget yesterdays ugly debacle by the BP.

Also, though MLB.TV, you can get the radio broadcasts of all games, including the blackouts.

Im debating whether or not to actually try to get games to watch at all simply because i really dont like rod and mario (especially rod, he annoys the crap out of me) but i freakin love dickerson and tolerate price. i can listen wherever whenever even after i move cuz i got the mlb at bat app which includes free radio through either my phone or tablet.

Team RISP: 7-for-16.

The Tigers are likely to finish this game with 16 hits, giving them 42 in the series and 67 in their last five games.

Tigers using the rare Tuiasosopo-Infante-Peralta-Santiago infield.

Most of those hits are singles, I cant wait till it warms up and our extra base power shows up more.

Id've liked to see Doug finish the game, and clearly AlAl has little control today.

if i would've found a picture of a tiger eating a blue jay on google image search, i wouldve posted that for my series/game summary.

Tigers win 11 - 1,
Fister goes 8 innings for the Win,
TigersVictoryCigar, An Avo #3 Maduro.

we were planning on just getting verizon FIOS and calling it good.

Wish that I could also just do similar to that and not have to subscribe to & pay for our HD cable TV & box, but my wife doesn't browse the internet much if at all, and has a few shows that she must watch each day, like for example, Ellen, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy.....AND @ their regularly scheduled broadcast times, so even if I could access those shows later if having been pre-recorded and they are available later online, she wouldn't find that at all acceptable...dlol. We now have a new HDTV that is internet capable and WiFi enabled...sigh.
