Tigers vs. bluejays Game Thread April 11

Wish that I could also just do similar to that and not have to subscribe to & pay for our HD cable TV & box, but my wife doesn't browse the internet much if at all, and has a few shows that she must watch each day, like for example, Ellen, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy.....AND @ their regularly scheduled broadcast times, so even if I could access those shows later if having been pre-recorded and they are available later online, she wouldn't find that at all acceptable...dlol. We now have a new HDTV that is internet capable and WiFi enabled...sigh.
it works well for us because we dont watch network tv at all. the only shows we keep up on are doctor who, futurama, archer, the venture bros, and (for me) ghost adventures, all of which i can find on the intarwebs after airing.

I could conceivably still eliminate the cable subscription anyway, but she would have to view her shows over the air with our powered digital antenna, and they wouldn't be displayed in HD.

Just read awhile ago that HDTV will eventually become obsolete, and replaced with "UHDTV 4K" allegedly having 4x the clarity of HD...and soon to be followed up by 8K that will provide 16 times as much resolution as a typical 1080p high-definition TV...so will they call it SUHDTV or "super-ultra high-definition TV"? :hmm:

Is that Cold Weather offense they had in this series?

I like it! that is a very nice refreshing thing to see.

How bout the hustle and head ups aggressiveness from these guys as well so far, Prince beating out a ground ball to 2nd yesterday, Miggy with a triple and a swipe of 3rd. Brookens is doing a great job at 3rd also!

Im debating whether or not to actually try to get games to watch at all simply because i really dont like rod and mario (especially rod, he annoys the crap out of me) but i freakin love dickerson and tolerate price. i can listen wherever whenever even after i move cuz i got the mlb at bat app which includes free radio through either my phone or tablet.

One nice feature with MLB.TV is that you can watch the FSD broadcast and listen to the WXYT audio feed.

is MLBtv free?

No. Depending on the sub. between $99 and $129 I think.

They do have a free game each night so you could have the app, not pay for it and get the free game to watch each night. I'm living out west so it lets me watch the Tigers.

I am fine with 720-1080p pricing under $1K in 50" HD. That works great for me and my wallet.
