Delmon Young probably starts LF next season

Maybe, but he is not much of an upgrade over Magglio unless he puts together a season like 2010.

Agree MI_Thumb, JT probably needs more time in the minors fine tuning things like keeping runners close.

I think they should call up Jacob Turner. Even if he has 3 or 4 more starts this year, put him in as a spot starter. I don't trust Porcello.

Turner will be up in Sept.

But it would be a big mistake to try to make him the 5th starter next year.

He still needs another season in the minors, haven't we learned out lesson about rushing pitching up to the majors?

All I'm saying is if he has a set number of innings this year why not finish those innings in the majors. We are in a pennant race and I'd take him over Porcello right now.

Tigers 7th inning,

Boesch showing bunt? takes outside, strike call, swings and misses a fastball in, changeup outside, fastball inside and low full count, swings and misses ball four, F

Young swings and misses outside, misses a fastball at the knees, fouls it back, again, swings and misses,

Cabrera takes inside, fastball outside, another low, green light fouled back, fouls it off the ump, outside for a second walk today and that stops his 17 game hitting streak if a 9 inning game,

Martinez slider strike call, changeup outside, on/off the corner called a strike, gameday says ball, grounder to first,

Tigers lead 8 - 7.

Because of 1 start you would take Turner over Porcello?

That makes very little sense, notice you didn't say Penny, but Porcello.

Sorry, he can come up and work as a long man, or a spot start, but no way he replaces anyone especially Porcello in the rotation.

And he will be AAA next season if we know what's good for him.

OK who changed my rank to Kung Fu Panda?

Bob?

Never mind.

I see Monster changed all the ranks.

Jacob Turner is pitching today. at about 114 innings, if they want him at 125 innings max he is probably done pitching by end of month and Toledo schedule, if up to 150 innings it's a maybe.

Kaline, do you know if its 125 or 150 for this year?

Shit, had Choo just where you wanted him too.

Good work by Coke overall though.

Come on Joaquin.

One start? NO Look at his last 3! And yes it does make a lot of sense if he has any innings left.

Jacob Turner has 1, count em, 1 MLB Start.

And you want him to replace Porcello?

Don't forget that in that start, just about everyone who got on base stole second lol.
