Jackson leads off with a walk,
Berry ball, takes a low sinker for a strike, belt high fastball fouled back, called strike three,
Cabrera fouls it back, fastball moves inside, gets jammed and still hits a hard ground ball single up the middle Jackson to second,
Prince takes sinker away, fastball high, hard hit grounder to second dp,
masterson 17 pitches,

there are three sides to every story, his, hers, and the truth,

Dirks first at bat since end of May lines it to left,
Avila lines it to left and this time the leftfielder loses it in the sun, centerfielder runs it down, and the ball rolls all the way to the fence, throw to home and Boesch scores and Avila gets to third, give Alex a double and error to assdribble,
Tigers lead 1- 0,
Santiago grounds out to third,
Infante grounds to third,

Dirks might be rusty, and he played mostly in leftfield before.
That was just a total lack of focus on that play. Gotta make sure you have the ball before worrying about the runner. That extra base cost us a run. At least we got lucky with the Boesch run. Fucking Lamont....
