Max not really sharp today, but if not for the misplay by Ajax, he's 2-hit these chumps.

Well Max didn't have his best stuff today, but he battled and really looked strong late. If that was his last inning we'll have to see at least 3 relievers. Time to sweat.

Nasty stuff from Max at 99 mph and Hafner couldn't pull the trigger. It gets lost how hard Max throws with JV on the team. 94-97 is a really really hard thrower for a starter.
