That was just a dumb at bat. No chance Kelly was getting a hit.

Hey Thumb? Berry still huge?
Not sure I understand what you mean.
Think you mean to be sarcastic and say overrated.
He had a good game, I'm happy. He's still not productive enough for a full-time corner outfielder. Watch how fast he hits the bench when Dirks comes back.
But you've been bitching about him while Dirks is on the DL. Its either Berry, Raburn or Kelly. Who you think is getting the hits?
I have not been "bitching" about him. I have simply pointed out that where several people think he's a solution, he actually is not.
He had a nice game today, and I'm glad, he hit a big HR against the Sox, and I'm glad, but he's not producing what we need out of a full time left fielder.
He'll be valuable off the bench, or possibly as a trade piece, but we need more production than he's likely to give us.
Hopefully Dirks can hit like he was before he got hurt.
Again you missed the boat. He was a good solution while Dirks was gone. No one expects him to make the 2012 lineup as a starting outfielder. But he was our best bat while we had injuries. And he's come through. Not perfect but I'm glad we had him.
