it was a stupid-ass call then. who calls a go-on-contact play against a pitcher who gets a fuckton of infield ground balls, especially off of right-handed bats? peralta did an awful job trying to execute an awful call.

Agreed.

The hit and run or go on contact play is stupid with a team that's not hitting.

The only batter I'd trust to use in that situation right now is Dirks, and nobody else.

Getting beat by a better team, they run the bases so much better than us, they field better, they move runners over, they fight off good pitches and protect the plate with 2 strikes, just good solid baseball from Cleveland and they deserve to sweep us.
