Tigers vs. indians Game Thread Sept. 16

He lost that ball BEFORE he hit the wall Rod!!!! Stop defending all these horrible fielders!!

what a homer he is, they must have to pass a test for most excuses and ass kissing to Tigers when they f'k up.

Had to know as soon as you decide to play shallow he was going to hit something deep.

F me.

I have never been so upset or sworn this much in years, maybe since 67 and the playoffs against the twins in 87,

what a fuckin abortion.

Kelly in f'n RF over Garcia??

FU Leyland, Lloyd and Fatt ASS, and f'n wimpy, what the f did he say before that game winner, groove it down the middle cause that's where the pitch was, right above the knees,

This was a forgettable game.

Top of the 9th really cost us, runner on 3rd less then two outs.....again our two big guys can't get him in.

i knew valverde would choke this game away.

you can't count on this guy to ever hold a 1 run lead, he's almost guaranteed to give up at least 1.

Valverde probably shouldn't have been in at all, or at least pulled before that. That was pretty much a must win, with Chicago and Oakland coming up. But then, since Lloyd had already burned through some of the bullpen needlessly, we didn't have good mix and match options. Now, even with a string of wins, our fate isn't really in our hands.

Surprisingly I'm not that upset, I should be, but I'm not... weird.

It sucks, but we can't win every game, and sweep every series from now until October.

We were going to lose a game sooner or later, it just sucks that we lost one that was easily winnable.

next 4 days are going to be tough and critical, I worry about that Oakland series even if we get back to 1 could easily lose the next 3 after that. But then again Chicago goes off to KC and KC seems to have their number this year so... This can still happen!

they keep shooting themselves in the foot. whether it is with the shitty defense and extended innings, or lack of bullpen management, or getting runners in from 3rd base with 0 or 1 out,

We get 13 straight games to end the season against two of the worst teams in the American League.

We're still in it.
