Jackson's game-ending catch in the ninth inning Sunday night preserved the Detroit Tigers' three-game sweep over the Chicago White Sox.
His reward? A day off.
Quintin Berry will spell Jackson in center field on Labor Day as the Tigers open a three-game series against the freefalling Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park.
"Last night was a pretty draining night -- that’s why I played Berry in center field today," manager Jim Leyland said. "Give him a game and give Jackson a little blow."

Anyone else have the mlb extra innings package with their cable provider?
I have it with Comcast and for some reason, channel 621 that the Tigers game is supposed to be on is a blank screen....all the other baseball channels are working.

I have no problem with runners on 1st and 2nd with Fielder coming up.
