Tigers vs. indians Game Preview.

After beating the Tigers on July 26th, the Indians were 50-49. They are now 56-78. The Indians are on a 6-29 slide. On a related note, the 2003 Tigers went 6-30 in one stretch.
Tigers can't afford any letdown after sweeping the shitsox.
Austin Jackson gets a day off, Quintin Berry starts in center field vs. Indians.
Jackson's game-ending catch in the ninth inning Sunday night preserved the Detroit Tigers' three-game sweep over the Chicago White Sox.
His reward? A day off.
Quintin Berry will spell Jackson in center field on Labor Day as the Tigers open a three-game series against the freefalling Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park.
"Last night was a pretty draining night -- that’s why I played Berry in center field today," manager Jim Leyland said. "Give him a game and give Jackson a little blow."
Andy Dirks will return to left field and Brennan Boesch will start in right against the Indians, losers of 16 of their last 18 games.
