I'm not giving up, but seems like Smokey has, Fister should have been gone.

We have no chance at coming back if we can't keep them off the bases somewhat.

Fister just does not have it since coming over from Seattle.

i dont get this statement. he had a very good start his first time out, a rain shortened start, and then a crappy start today. i think we should give him more than ~2 starts before we say he doesnt have it.

he shouldnt get all the blame today either. there have been hard line drives, lucky bounces, and questionable defense (like that bad throw on the jones single cost him a run), and the offense today against a horrible pitcher has been inexcusably bad. just not a good team effort period so far today.

I agree Fister shouldn't get 100% of the blame today.. Raburn made a lot of bad plays as well.. Give him 2 more starts before determining anything..

Fister just isn't locating his pitches low today, pitches up that are 87-90 get hit when waist high.
Defense not great today either.

Well the jury is still out on the Fister deal.. DD has not had much luck at the trade deadline that I can remember. I really thought they should go after a lead-off hitter and a fringe starter like Harang or someone else that would not cost as much as Fister did.. But only time will tell how Fister and Pauley work out. Today it is not good....
