Tigers vs. orioles Game Thread August 18

Rick out of the inning with 43 pitches,

Miguel ok? thought they showed him rubbing his knee, slide into third from andino?

That's one way to eliminate the DP Ajax!

Get on second by yourself.

you have to be able to hit, to be effective thou... he's never hit anywhere he's been. bad decision on DD part. imo

He's nothing fancy, but he does hit lefties well for a bottom of the order/lefty platoon guy.

The alternative was Raburn/Kelly.

yep you're right................small sample let's dump on Jhonny. Delmon had most of the year.
Just don't get what everyone's problem with him is. He's right about at his career averages. Hell, he's got 26 HR's in the year that he's been with Detroit. 5 in the postseason last fall. How many other guys on this team can say that? Not sure what people were expecting from him, but this is pretty much what he's always been. He doesn't go on a Boesch/Inge like slump or a Miggy terror. He's consistently mediocre.

its the plate discipline and bouts of swinging at balls way off the plate and or in the dirt that drives everyone nuts. When he's not doing that it's all good.

the pitches to prince called strikes were there, the one to Omar wasn't and again that first one to JP was a ball also. we're likely going to see some fireworks over this zone before the night is over.

Fuck this UMP.

Squeezing Porcello and giving Britton the next zip code.

Wtf is this umpire doing back there...calling strikes that aren't even close

Kellogg I hope you get butt-raped with a sandpaper covered baseball bat...

That's my point though. He's ALWAYS been like that. Putting on the Olde English D isn't gonna cure that. Shit, half the lineup has horrible plate discipline.

Tigers batting 3rd inning,

Jackson with a liner to left for a double,

Infante shows bunt takes low and in, again, lined down right foul, check swing strike call, fastball inside full count, inside low and it's a strike call what a f'n pos ump,

Cabrera is intentionally walked,

Fielder slider low, curve outside, fastball high strike call, low and away, curve way in strike call full count, another bad call by this ump, strike three called, what a crosseyed c'ksucker umpire, it was a ball before,

Peralta with a horrible first pitch strike call, and Leyland going nuts yelling from the dugout, swings and misses, ball, lines to center,

FU kellogg

britton 53 pitches,

I'm watching the Orioles feed from MASN...even they are saying fielder and then the one strike on Peralta weren't close, and even showed it on their pitch tracker.
