Tigers vs. pirates Game Thread June 24

I heard somewhere that Raburn has hit pretty good since being brought up?

p.s. They do let Barnes and Alvarez play everyday

I was putting in a joke, there.
But,but should look at the Tiger's splits, you would find that the Tiger's number 6 spot hitters are hitting a great .206 this season compaired to there opponents .272. AU I'd say there is a problem there in the lower middle of the order! That not be good!

The Bucks R only batting .226 to there opponents .206 thoe but still better than the Tigers 6 spot.

Verlander has had 7 or less combined Ks in back-to-back starts once last year (5/24-29, 5 k's), once in 2010 (June 5-11, 7 k's), seven times in 2008.

Thankyou Jhonny, with delmon's back up against the leftfield wall, he wasn't getting to it.

Verlander K's McCutchen and ties Strasburg for MLB strikeout lead at 110.

This is a boring game.

Hum, I'm going to go with the Tiger's offense is not getting it done and Verlander is a good pitcher. So there be the answer to this being a boring game. But I like good pitching games. Too bad the Tigers R making the Bucks pitchers look like a bunch of CY Youngs thoe!

According to stats, most teams have made their pitchers look really good. Having said that, I like their Bullpen (Resop, Cruz, Hanharan)..I even like Meeks, but not sure what happened to him.

Verlander has 58 consecutive starts with 6+ IP. That ties him with Walter Johnson for 4th longest streak since 1918.

couldnt they picked a better batter than Broson Arroyo to show Verlander fanning?

O do not get me wrong here the Bucks do have some fine pitchers. Just the Tigers seem to make everone pitching staff look better. The Bucks R trying to build a good team IMO the right way with players that do not cost too much. To when they do get in a postion that they can make a good run in the playoffs they could afford to pick up a bat or two for that run.
