I really thought Avila would get today off. Oh how nice to see Kelly batting leadoff again, Leyland putting incredible analysis into changing the lineup a little.

Who does everybody want to see leading off while Jackson is out? I see lots of bitching about this, but it seems to make sense to me that Kelly would be there with AJax out of the lineup.

Man I hope we can take the series but we sure are mucking up this easier schedule we have had recently.. Playing against Seattle, Oakland, Minnesota, and now the Pirates and playing so poorly really pisses me off. Should have made some good hay verses those clubs... i know...it's early right.

Difficult to decide that one. not a lot of great choices. I'd have to say Ramon at 2B leading off and Kelly 9th would be better than Kelly leading off. But that isn't saying much. LOL.. Bigger concern maybe is Alex, he's not hitting very well this year, need to get him going.

Kelly is at .293 OBP.. I would lead-off dirks who has a .408 obp. and then slide in JP in the 2 hole who has a obp of .341 right now... Jimmy smokes never moves JP up so it won't happen but you are right we don't have many options for lead -off... But I much prefer a better top of the order then spreading out the batters..
