I agree with the previous poster, while Jackson is out, Dirks leadoff and Boesch or Peralta second.

Get StartedI agree with the previous poster, while Jackson is out, Dirks leadoff and Boesch or Peralta second.
JL is trying to get Dirks settled as the #2 hitter, and Boesch stunk there and is finally heating up after being dropped in the order, why mess with that? I've got no issue with Kelly being a straight sub for Jackson given the other options on the roster.
Raburn>>>Kelly.
It's not even close.
Kelly has been better so far this year than Pujols too, but that doesnt make him a better hitter than Pujols. small sample size. Not in 2012.
Kelly - .196avg/.293obp/.635ops
Raburn - .148avg/.218obp/.441ops
How can you even make the argument right now? They both stink, but Kelly has been much better so far this year.
Kelly's OPS is .480

Pujols has been better than Kelly or Raburn this year. I understand your point on sample size, but we aren't comparing Kelly to a 1st ballot HOF player, we're comparing him to another AAAA player who has stunk worse this season.
Yeah .480 after that first at bat, they both suck right now, but Raburn's stats at the end of the season will be significantly better than Kelly's. Kelly is a AAAA player, Raburn is an MLB player after May.
Avila has really been struggling lately.
Kelly is a career minor leaguer, while Raburn just sucks. We need a 2B badly.
Not in 2012.
