JV had over 100 after 5. Smyly has been much better with his PC.

Yea, but he's a rookie so might be on a pitch limit.

But the bullpen aside from Coke has been worked, so I wondered if they let him go over 100.

He should start the 7th, but then he faces the meat of the lineup.

I hope not. I could see late in the season or in a blow out but at this point let them pitch some. Especially after the BP last night. Valverde and Benoit are out and I bet Dotel as well, they threw a ton last night.

Yep. I learned in Little League as a SS and 2B to squeeze the middle on throws back to the P. Guess they make too much money to worry about that stuff.

There's really no point in moving out of position on the throw back at the ML level to back up that throw.
