Tigers vs. rays Game Thread April 10

Wow I'm so glad Valverde didn't "shit the bed" again.

/sarcasm

And Valverde starts a new streak!!!

Great win against one of the best teams in the AL, 4-0 baby!!!

Great pitching matchup tomorrow with JV facing Shields.

If Porcello can come close to pitching like this all year we could be a dominant team!!

The Tigers are now 4-0 for the 8th time in franchise history (and 3rd in the last 9 seasons) after their win this afternoon.

4-0. very nice start. Especially considering the competition.

Yeah, but Jackson is now slumping, he only went 1-2 and lowered his batting average to .563 from .571, I think Lloyd needs to change his swing back to what it was.

:hehe: But 2 walks and a HR to tie game.

Before Miguel hit his long opposite field double, his wrist got all fk'd up. But still knocked it a long way. Amazing..

This team has been impressive so far. We've been able to put up a lot of offense and come from behind on two good teams. I'm excited to watch the dismantling of the bad teams that will surely happen at points this year.

Also, Jackson looks WAAAAYYYY better so far. I'll give Legendary Lloyd his due on the tweaks he made and AJax credit for actually listening and performing.

As was talked about earlier in this thread, AJ went to Lloyd to change things, not the other way around.

very nice!!!! and I just got back from my- colonoscopy and tigers eon and.. Thanks for the update monster......

Tampa Bay used a starting pitcher age 30 or younger for a 900th consecutive game, a streak dating to 2006.

That's pretty amazing actually.

I know Moore threw a lot of fastballs, 84%, but Miguel of his 21 pitches, 20 were fastballs today.
