Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread August 1

Cabrera and Fielder hit back-to-back home runs for 3rd time in 2012 -- marks 5th time overall Tigers have homered back-to-back.

Prince and Miggy's back-to-back HR games: April 7, vs. Boston (Beckett); July 27, vs. Toronto (Villanueva); Aug. 1, vs. Boston (Cook).

Don't you guys think it's a waste to have Fielder batting right behind Cabrera? Wouldn't it be better to have him come two or three spots behind him, so he has a chance to hit more home runs with runners on base?

No. Miggy has the best chance to get a hit and be on base. Plus they would definitely just pitch around Miggy for sure. The rest of our middle order guys are lousy.
 
What the hell RP walks a guy so I get up and walk outside for a second then come back to a commercial? wow i'm not used to that sorta thing happening for us.
 
Great offensive inning followed by an equally impressive defensive one. Hopefully this trend will continue.
 
How does Delmon not see that and tag up and head to second?
