Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread August 1

I hope that busted up one of their cars.

Prince adds a nice big FY to cook!

The big boys came to play today!! Miggy hit one all the way to New Hampshire!

**** you Boston.

Man, how sweet would it be of Boesch can get ahold of one now and go back-to-back-to-back?

Not like that, but they did mention he was soaking his foot and should be back soon, and how much the lineup misses him, etc.

The only little tidbit about the Tigers so far has been a shot of several AL players talking about how they feel Cabrera is the best pure hitter in baseball. (Duh!)

yeah, Duh....tell us something we don't already know,
I really don't watch anything on espn or fox anymore, for a couple of years now, unless absolutely necessary, say if Tigers aren't on extrainnings and Only on theirs.

I want to hear how far the Cabrera HR went, OMG, wow! Don't watch many games at Fenway, but is that done often? Over the Green Monster and all the way out?

What did they say about that on the espn feed?

I don't remember exactly, I was too excited when I heard Dickerson call it, but they seemed impressed by the distance.

Just now on the inning re-cap, they said Cabrera "slaughtered one" and Fielders was "majestic".

Don't you guys think it's a waste to have Fielder batting right behind Cabrera? Wouldn't it be better to have him come two or three spots behind him, so he has a chance to hit more home runs with runners on base?

not all that often,

it was back in the early 90's, a year when pete incaviglia played for the Tigers and I was at the game, roger clemens was pitching runners on and for me at a game, the highest fly homerun I witnessed, it was on the way out but hit the top of a light stanchion breaking a light, like in the movie the natural.

Looked like 1 bounce in the parking lot and then into the highway too.

Yep, ESPN guys just mentioned it went into the Mass. turnpike.

I do but then who we do bat 4th, one of the hacker crew? pssstt the options are so limited with only 4 at most dependable spots in the order on any given night.
