Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread May 28

Wasn't being funny, I was actually serious. RR gets what, one hit a week maybe?

If that was true, he wouldn't even have 10 hits year. Again..nice try. I don't think RR is good or anything and I would love to replace him but as you can see, his replacements are Santiago or Worth and at least Raburn plays like an All-Star in the second half.

Berry on the other hand will cool off....if you don't think so, you haven't followed baseball much.

Heck we could take any infielder hitting/outfielder over .220 and it would be better then Raburn's what is it now .146 .... You just can't keep playing that...It sends a poor message throughout the whole organization. The Tigers have given him plenty of chances.. At least worth is faster then Raburn.. But he can be the next to go followed by kelly..

How about anyone hitting over 300. I would take them over those two clowns.

Like Worth? He was batting 300, third on the team and plays Raburn's position.

oh wait..you included him.

Eric Patterson? .244

I guess me looking those up for you made you look even sillier with your comment. Good thing you aren't the coach.

So in your vast knowledge you know for a fact Berry will cool off? Could it be possible that this is how he will always play? I know I wouldn't be sending him back down until he proves he can't handle it in the majors. And RR being an All-star second baseman shows me you haven't watched much baseball.

You either if you think RR is an all-star player in the second half. Doesn't do you much good when you are out of it by the all-star break.

The only reason Raburn improved in 2011 and batted 341/.393/.574/.967 in only 45 games played and 31 started games was because Jim platooned him for over a month in a row right after the AS game.. He had only 6 homers and 18 RBI's Yippee

Heck his first half last year of .213/.248/.360/.609 he had 8 homers and 31 RBI's in 2011.

He K's way to much he is poor fielder at best and his numbers have regressed overall every year for the last 3 years... he has the tigers bamboozled into think those second half's mean anything... When you suck for 2-3 months then turn it on it is a freaking wash to me..... CUT him or use his last option to Toledo to see if he can find himself like he did a few years ago...

Don't know if it's true or if he was joking, but Fox Sports said Leyland and Lamont were throwing things at the tv in the clubhouse after being ejected.

Jim is hot.... Wow!!! Nice to show some emotion!!! About time!!

I hope so, this mediocre playing style the Tigers have adapted is unacceptable. We should be dominating our division and we can't even get to .500? Something or someone has to spark this team.

Damn Sale for the Sox's has 14 k's through 6..And Moore has 9!!!!

Lost with the screw job by the umps was...

With his base hit today, Quintin Berry has hit safely in his first six big league games extending his Tigers record.

Miguel Cabrera went 0-for-4 against Red Sox today; his .196 average at Fenway is his worst at any ballpark in the majors.

Leyland went off on umpires and "accountability." Told media: "You guys need to hold people accountable."

Leyland again to media: "Write that it was a ridiculous call." Fine. It was a ridiculous call.

For record, umpires agree they got the call wrong. Bill Welke: "What looks crystal clear [on video] didn't look crystal clear from 1B line." well FU then.
