Baseball America had him as a top 5 prospect for the tiger's at one time. He also played in the futures game in 2008.

Exactly. Much like Rondon, Thomas, and countless others. It's early, the fanboy crap will get worse. He is an excellent employee. Jim Price's review may have left a lot to be desired.
