Tigers vs. twins Game Thread April 3

15 1/3 innings so far this season and isn't that already every bullpen arm?

Some of this can be blamed on the chilly temps, but the Tigers lineup really should not have been this bereft of offense vs Correia, they had seen him enough through 7 IP.

1-2-3 w/ a swingin' K by Prince & most of the heart of the order goes down pretty quick vs the twinks RP Burton...meh.

Weather really not that conducive for long bombs, far more suited to manufacturing them.

C'mon Ben-wahh...just one more out here, please!!

Got him!!

Could really use an insurance run or two in the top 9th, Tigers.

After 8 IP

MIN Pitchers 109 pitches, 31 batters = 3.52 Pitches per Batter

DET Pitchers 152 pitches, 32 batters = 4.75 Pitches per Batter

On Monday

MIN Pitchers 152 pitches, 39 batters = 3.90 Pitches per Batter

DET Pitchers 172 pitches, 41 batters = 4.20 Pitches per Batter

Fouling out on the second pitch doesn't help much, Victor.

Or striking out on 3 straight, Andy...

Or flying out on a 3-1 count, Jhonny...sigh...1-2-3.

Yep those nuumbers have got change. Starters going only 5 innings will wear out this BP as well!
