Ex-Tiger Casey Fien, for some reason I don't really remember him

Let's ask Wiki

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casey_Fien
Detroit Tigers

Fien was drafted in the 20th round of the 2006 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers. He was called up by the Tigers on July 24, 2009 from the Toledo Mud Hens to replace Eddie Bonine.[1]
On February 23, 2010, he was designated for assignment to make roster room for the newly-acquired Johnny Damon. On March 1, 2010 he was selected off waivers by the Boston Red Sox, and then selected again by the Toronto Blue Jays on March 4. The Blue Jays released him on March 18 and he rejoined the Tigers on March 20.[2]
On June 29, 2010, he was purchased from Triple-A to replace Joel Zumaya, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list.[3] He was sent back down to Toledo on June 3.[4] They called him back up on July 20.[5] He was again sent back down to Toledo on July 21.[6] He filed for free agency after the season ended.
Houston Astros

In November 2010, Fien signed a minor league contract with the Houston Astros.[7] He was released during the season.[8]
Minnesota Twins

In 2011 Fien signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins.

Omar triples,

Cabrera singles him in for his 100 rbi of the season, his 5th straight year and Miguel is the 3rd Tigers player along with Harry Heilmann and Charlie Gehringer.

The runner at 3rd still would have scored in this case. They wouldn't have been able to double him up the regular 4-6-3 way....too fast It wasn't a dumb play. They would have and should have gotten the double play if they could execute a rundown.

With a 4 run lead, you just give up the run for the routine double play in that situation.

Know why?

When you don't...what happened...almost always does.

Is that a ball boy or a ball man? -Mario

might be the funniest thing I've ever heard him say.

Fister 7 innings 103 pitches, and in the running for pitchers GG award.

So far, we've got 2 on prince 1 on Infante and 2 more on Infante that he should have been given an error for

Now in fairness...

Some of those errors on Fielder are the same errors that should have been on Infante...

So it hasn't been that bad.

About Berry celebrating in the dugout....."Sac bunt, he's acting like he hit a homer. He's happy to get off that pine. Get some of those splinters out of him." - Rod.

I don't know bout that, prince pulled off the bag to soon then chucked into left center. Unless of course you saying that if infante had done what he was supposed to in the first place neither of those two things happen, that could be..

100 rbi's for Miggy! Fastest he's ever done that. 117 games.

that is fast. .85 rbi per game, last year he did it in game 157. in part to the better obp at top spots this year compared to 2011,
2012 1/2 obp's .378/.321.
2011 1/2/3 OBP's: .311/.329/.317

Young and Lamont... A bad combo... Listen to Rod justify it.. He was out by a mile...

Yes, that's what I meant, but I was also being a little tongue in cheek...was getting back in a better mood, but not getting that extra run that last inning kinda stings...was the right call to send Delmon, though, just a great throw and tag...

Gotta pitch and play D here now...
