Nice work JJ.
Talk about coming back to Earth; no, he has fallen off the planet! Enough said.

Get StartedNice work JJ.
These past few years have been the worst for Detroit pro sports ever, while other cities have had more than one championship (Wash DC, Boston) or contenders in two or more sports. The pandemic has been a blessing in disguise for the Red Wings and Pistons, ending their shitty and horrible seasons early. The Lions went from bad to worse, as did the Tigers, having lost the second-most games in franchise history last year, with the pandemic greatly shortening this season, very likely preventing another 100+ losses.

This season ALSO will mark the officially longest championship drought in Tigers franchise history of 36 years, barring a miracle. The woeful Lions franchise just continue to ADD to theirs @ 62 years and counting....sheesh!!
Speaks volumes that the very same loser Lions, are who likely have the best chance of the 4 to contend over this and the next couple years...that is...if this season is even actually played through.
Just remember Boston & the Cubs went a heck of long time between titles. Look at hockey, the Leafs haven't won since the 60's. Blue's just won their first. Even the Black Hawks went over 40 years without a cup .. Unfortunate all 4 bailed at the same time but teams go long stretches. It happens.
That being said. Someone said Tigers might not win 20. Right now 10 wins is becoming a struggle!
The Tigers had a lot of early games against the shitty Central teams (13 games vs. KC, Pitt & the Reds)
They have 41 games left after today. I would be surprised if they get to 20 wins
Erm...Boston sports fans drowned their MLB and NFL sorrows in NBA Celtics dynasties and NHL Bruins Stanley Cups in the 20th century. Now the Patriots and Red Sox have more than made up in Super Bowl and World Series championships since 2000.
Toronto had only one pro sports team, until the MLB Blue Jays, who have won 2 WS championships, and the recent NBA Raptors who won the NBA championship last year. Forgot about their CFL Argonauts but I don't know their history, and the CFL apparently cancelled even a shortened '20 season.
Chicago had their NBA MJ Bulls dynasty in the 90s, the NFL Bears 1-1 in Super Bowls, the White Sox and Cubs '05 and '16 WS championships.
Cleveland is the one city that you could point out as snakebit, but even the Browns have more playoff wins than the Lions, and a more recent NFL championship.
Well if you're not an NBA fan I doubt Celtic or Bulls wins helped alleviate their frustration. If you are a fan of all 4 sports it could be much worse.. Wings many cups, Pistons with 3 and even Tigers (Though it's been awhile).
