f'n smokes, who gives a fuck, fly balls.... they were outs. Chomp chomp, talk with food in your mouth Jimmy you're such a class act, Let Smyly pitch a bit more, he had 48 pitches after 4 f'n innings.
Yeah Jimmy that's it, use the f'n bullpen more Jimmy, lead the league in something, try to with bullpen innings, that's good early on, and with the most sac bunt attempts at the most Fuckdiculous moments of a game.

Friend of mine used to tell me all the time smokes was a terrible manager, I never listed to him for the most part always gave him the benefit of the doubt. Next time I see that friend I'll be telling him he was right all along and that i'm sorry I ever doubted him. Some of the things I've seen him do this year are just baffling. I honestly believe we'd be in first place right now if not for all of the over managing.

Smyly did not seem happy when asked about being taken out. Twice they brought it up and both times looked away as he gave an answer.

Do we need to start worrying about the players losing confidence in Smokes ability to manager properly? Maybe some of the precieved going through the motions action already an indication??

He does it all the damn time... Just a awful manager.

I know I've asked a lot of good questions tonight, doesn't seem to be any good answers. 1 day at a time I guess. It's a long season, and maybe they'll still get there heads out of there behinds sooner or later and win this lousy division in spite of Jimmy's best efforts to over manage it. And if not, who cares the whole worlds going to hellin hand basket so it's not all that important really...

Laird is joking about his trip in the post game interviews. LOL. he's funny. I like Gerald.

Yeah even if we get to the playoffs Smokes will muck it up somehow... Like starting the Rookie Verlander in 2006 over Rogers in game one after a week off.. LaRussa schooled Cancer stick in the 2006 world series..

That and the pitchers somehow forgot how to throw to bases...lol

Any one get the feeling the game is passing Leyland by, this is the same shit staying with a batter that is Not hitting, did it with players last year and year before...give them a chance but after awhile you don't and sit them. Don't keep running them out there for 4 months.
and really, what was that with Smyly, 69/70 pitches.
Having Young in the middle of the lineup is rubbing off and affecting other batters, all too often, they are swinging and chasing pitches out of zone.

LaRussa isn't a good manager either.

Him and Leyland are one and the same.

At least Leyland doesn't have a dui problem.

He's never had a team that had 2 consistent halves. Used to be the 2nd half they would collapse. Now the last 2 years it's been slow starts. Wonder how this team would respond to a Ozzie Guillen type manager?

Yes.. hell it only took him two years to figure out we swing at a lot of balls and he had to get thrown out of a game to see that. IMO it takes the coaching staff way to long to get corrections made when players are in a funk.
