He sure pushed all the right buttons last year and in 2006.... I don't know...DUI has nothing to do with managing.. Both smoking and drinking will kill you... I never said I like TL..In fact I think he is a douche bag but he sure did use his bullpen right down the strech last year. I think he is better then Jim... Bringing in LP makes no sense when you whole bullpen had yesterday off..

This roster isn't good? Then why the fuck were they one of the favorites to win the World Series this year?

They have a couple of holes but almost every team does. They have a fn manager who's a complete buffoon when it comes to tough decisions. Not blaming it all on Jimmy but he's the fn manager of this team and the players don't get all the blame. It's a clusterfuck right now.

People bought into the Prince signing. I was against the signing but came around and bought in as well. The Tigers are not athletic. Their two best hitters can't get to 2B on a shot to the CF wall and can't score from 2B on a single. Their LF is the worst defensive OF in MLB and he can't hit. Their RF is OK but can't hit. They don't have a 2B. Thier catcher was good last year but is playing like shit. SS is coming off of his career year and is back down to earth. Their bench sucks which creates a problem with the DH. They have one great starter, a good starter and a few #4s. The rookie is pitching well. The bull pen sucks balls. They are in the middle of the pack in batting and have the 23rd worst era in MLB. Give me a fucking break. People think Leyland is the reason the Tigers are where they are right now...he isn't perfect and I am sure there are better managers out there but he isn't the reason that the team is below .500.

And who gives a shit about baseball players being athletic? What the hell does that have anything to do with the Tigers? Prince and Miggy can't turn a single into a double or get home from 2nd...whatever? Get real, man...lol. Miggy sure looks pretty suave at 3rd this year, no?

I don't think anyone disagrees with everything you said except the last sentence. Leyland is the guy in charge, ultimately the blame lies with him for a lot of this. Leyland has had the worst 35 games managing since he's been here. Players have hot and cold streaks and so do managers, everything Leyland does right now turns to shit, he might be over managing at this point because he's starting to make some bone headed decisions and last night was an example. Every manager makes some poor decisions once in a while, but in the long run you need their decisions to regularly put the team in the best position to win, Leyland has been doing the opposite far too often as of late. No one is saying he's 100% to blame, but he's been just terrible lately when we've needed him to make sound decisions.

The Tigers are 17-18, no one thinks with a better manager we'd be 30-5, but I don't think 20-15 or 21-14 would be unreasonable had Leyland done a better job thus far.

Because their best two players are slow they leave a lot of runs on the board. Miggy has played well at 3B. Prince has been a huge disapointment so far but I expect that he will heat up later in the year.

Don't rip on our 2 megastars because they're slow on the basepaths. Nobody gives a shit about that. Miggy is probably the best hitter in baseball when it's all said and done and Prince is a masher who hits .300 consistently.

And how has Prince been a huge disapointment? His power numbers are a little down but he's hitting for average. Besides, we all know he will start bombing soon anyways. Prince is a notoriously slow starter. Don't worry about him.
