Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread May 14

This is why I will always be in favor of instant replays and more of them in every sport. Everyone knows that was a fair ball except the 1 guy who gets to make the call.

good lord. All these shit calls are making like a borderline conspiracy theory.

Figures.....now we have to hope Smyly keeps the first pitch fastballs over the heart of the plate to a minimum since the word is out on him.

He was green-lighted.

Struggling player who was likely to get a cookie, you already scored 3 runs might as well let him rip at it.
Just dumb. This team has been known to score 3-4 runs then get shutout the rest of the way. Makes as much sense as putting a guy in motion just so a struggling hitter is forced to swing. Most of the guys struggling are doing it because they swing at bad pitches. Why force them to swing?

Umpires continue to destroy the Tigers most every chance they get.

They'll get to Danks again.....only a matter of time before he implodes.

He gave up one HR, that doesn't mean the word is out on him.

Every pitcher throws first pitch fastballs from time to time.

Did get to see the foul ball of Miggy's. Was there even a puff of chalk?

Nice quick inning for Drew.

Had to get the hang of things he's not used to pitching with a lead. =P

Dunn hit 0 HR's last year vs. lefties, and that was his first this year.

Safe to say it was more luck on Dunn's part than a mistake on Smyly's.

Nobody can fault Drew for throwing that pitch to Dunn, except people who second guess everything after it happens.

The rally killer at it again and Jim does not bat him 9th..
